A message from Falen Whipple, the founder of Firefly Acres.

Before I even found this property and bought it, I had the name “Firefly” already picked out and I knew exactly what I wanted to create. I searched for almost a year to find the perfect place to bring these ideas to life. I grew up on this very road, where my mom still lives in the same house I made childhood memories in a mile up the road. The area itself has a lot of sentimental value to me but more than that I knew owning 93 acres is a lot to maintain and it’s too much not to share with others. I’ve traveled the world and I’ve became appreciative of certain luxuries and I also can appreciate Mother Nature’s natural beauty and everything she has to offer. However, I wanted to combine the two to create a unique experience for locals and to attract tourists to our area. As Firefly continues to evolve, our goal in mind is “when luxury meets camping.” We will do our best to give you luxury accommodations without disturbing the natural beauty of Mother Nature.
